Become our Community Wizard!
Sandbox is the world’s foremost community of extraordinary and entrepreneurial young people. With 650 members all across the world, we want 2012 to be our most successful year yet – where we expand our community worldwide and continue to create tools to bring our members closer together.
To expand our small but sexy team, based in the beautiful city of Zurich, Switzerland, we are looking for a Community Wizard (or Head of Community Development, if you prefer). Your responsibilities include:
- Be responsible for the growth and maintenance of the most awesome community you’ll ever encounter
- Coordinate and lead a team of two Community Managers
- Oversee and re-design community processes (such as our application process)
- Recruit new Ambassadors and open new Sandbox hubs all across the world
- Coordinate with existing Ambassadors
- Make sure our community is constantly active and happy.
As our Community Wizard, you are an integral part of our management team, and involved in everything from defining and executing strategy to cooking up ideas on how our next company retreat should look like.
What you should bring to the table:
- Be at Sandboxer, at least at heart
- Enjoy working in a start-up environment (where both the hours and the people can be a bit crazy)
- Be able to turn strategies into clear, executable goals and processes
- Have excellent leadership and communication skills
- Feel at home in a highly international and ever changing environment
- Have experience in organizing events
