First Sandbox Dinner in Hong Kong

The Sandbox Hong Kong community celebrated its first Sandbox dinner on Tuesday, December 1st at the cozy Thai restaurant L16 in the middle of Hong Kong park. With all Sandboxers in Hong Kong and more friends joining, the discussion was hotter than the dishes on the table.
Coming back from promoting World AIDS Day, Sandboxer Sebastian Lindstrom and Sandbox’s friend Patrick Bostrom were still in their sharp red jumpers. Sebastian shared inspiring stories from Africa (he is the founder of the WhatTookYouSoLong foundation), and Patrick talked about his Young Drucker Undergraduate program in HKU. Working together from next January, they are bringing a group of volunteers to Ghana for a child sexual assault prevention program. Another friend of Sandbox, Tim Golden, shared his wonderful experience of running for the house in Pennsylvania earlier this year. As a write-in candidate, Tim gained an amazing popularity of 27%.
In a sense this is also a departure dinner for a few Sandboxers in Hong Kong: Sebastian is flying back to Europe for COP15, while Yuxin is on his way to Indonesia for a new project working with UNDP. We wish them wonderful trips and look forward to hearing their inspirational stories!
Yuxin is Sandbox’ ambassador to HongKong and is currently preparing the MAD-conference.
