Sandbox Dinner at the Kantorei in Zurich
«When there is silence, the mind is eloquent.» This beautiful insight comes from one of the participants of the Sandbox dinner last Friday in Zurich, where we asked attendees to write down one sentence that stuck with them from the evening and give it to us. Of course, the dinner itself was far from being silent – but it was indeed a discussion of eloquent minds. Our special guests from Asia shared fascinating insights into their work at LGT Philantropic ventures that fitted perfectly into a broader discussion about the value and possibilities of social entrepreneurship we recently started at Sandbox (watch out for our next newsletter about this topic, you can subscribe to it here). At the other end of the table, participants were discussing the future of online search (which is going to be, possibly, real-time, social, visual and fragmented), and Yuan was showing the beautiful personalized maps that her new venture produces. – It was another very inspiring evening, thanks everyone for coming! We’re looking forward to the next dinners.
