About Dublin:
Dublin is the tech capital of Europe with all 10 of the worlds top 10 tech companies basing their European operations in the city. It is also the youngest city in the region with over 10% of it’s population between 18 and 22. It’s a vibrant, cosmopolitan, enterprising, young city bridging the gap between the US and Europe.
Meet the Sandbox Dublin Ambassador: John Egan
«Over the course of the last year my assimilation into the Sandbox community has been one of the most rewarding social and commercial experiences of my life. It has facilitated the unencumbered international expansion of my personal network and impact at a rate I could never have hoped to achieve on my own or through any other community. More than that, I have been fortunate enough to meet some of the best friends imaginable along the way.
We launch the Sandbox Dublin Hub at a time when this generation of young achievers in Ireland are scattered and suffering. Youth unemployment and emigration are at precipitously high levels and necessity compels so many young people to curb their ambitions. Ireland has always struggled to catalyze the potential of the generation of adults under 30 but it is our belief that the presence of Sandbox and the opportunities it presents can help innovative and enterprising young Irish people create a global impact sooner rather than later.»
