ACE / Bluesky Exchange & Sandbox Workshops
January 7th, 2010 by Andreas BrennerI’m glad to announce the fruits of some of the hours Sandboxer Marcel Oedi, aspiring Sandboxer Marcus Kuhn and I put into building the Singapore Sandbox community: a co-hosted ACE / Bluesky Exchange as well as a full day of workshops at Nanyang Technological University. Both events will feature Sandboxers from Switzerland and local entrepreneurs and both events are kindly supported by Swissnex.
Since having a brand and personal connections is more crucial in Asia to establish a community like Sandbox than it is in more casual social environments like the USA or Europe, I consider this a major step forward. Having made connections with some of the most interesting players in the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Singapore and bringing together the vibrant community of talents certainly represents a milestone on my personal Sandbox agenda.

Note: The event will be part of the launch program of the Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition (contact me for further information). Note: Almost all seats are filled with young entrepreneurs from more than 10 different institutions of higher education in Singapore as well as some Sandboxers from around the globe. Streaming the sessions online sounds like an idea but certainly isn't our focus. Once we have everything else figured out I will see if we can make it happen. I will inform you on a short notice basis.
