Sandboxing at OBIKA
September 4th, 2009 by Christian BuschMore than a dozen Sandboxers and guests met in London yesterday for a great night full of exciting discussions, newly established relationships, and good food.
During the dinner at the cozy mozzarella bar Obika, Sandbox’ San Francisco Ambassador Christian Shelton updated us on the launch of his exciting social media startup, which will be in stealth mode until the end of January – in our view one of the most promising startups worldwide at the moment. It will be facilitating the collaboration within organizations and is supposed to push the technology to a new level.
Garrick Jones, CEO of Ludic group, offered the exciting opportunity to selected Sandboxers to meet some top executives of Ericsson in London for a generational learning experience.
We also celebrated the assignment of Paolo Rigutto as Sandbox’ Ambassador for London; he will organize a number of events and supports Christian with the community building.
We were happy to see that several Sandboxers decided to partner up on a larger scale, and we are looking forward to the small follow-up dinner with our advisory board member Thomas Sevcik on Tuesday!
