Weekly inspiration #28: Sandbox Podcasts
March 21st, 2010 by Sandbox
About a month ago, I was in Berlin and stayed at Scheerer & Scheerer‘s place. Rainer is our Sandbox Ambassador for Berlin. He is an opera singer and a hip-hop producer. He is also a sound technician, so when he saw his audio recorder device, he came up with the brilliant idea of making Sandbox podcasts. We didn’t wait longer and gave it a first try.
In this first and very spontaneous podcast, we talk about Sandbox and explain what the purpose of the podcasts should be: go a step further and get to know Sandbox members more personally, by trying to understand not only what they are doing but also where their drive and passion comes from.
Podcast Nr 1: Antoine Verdon
The day after, Rainer met Basti Hirsh who was about to leave for a learning expedition in the US. Basti explains what it is about in the following podcast:
Podcast Nr 2: Basti Hirsch
Rainer and Susanne bumped into James Rohrbach, Sandboxer and CEO of Gulliver, a site that helps American college students to study abroad. James tells us more about the stand of his project and gives us his definition of art.
Podcast Nr 3: James Rohrbach
There is more to come: the next podcasts scheduled feature Sandboxers Susanne Scheerer, Sandra Diana Troegl, Adrian Locher and Jay Cousins. We will publish them one by one on a monthly rhythm and Rainer will continue recording more with the Sandboxers that he meets.
Antoine is a Co-Founder and the CEO of Sandbox. He is impressed by Rainer’s creative energy and is looking forward to many more podcasts
We put them on iTunes for an easier download, but we have to wait for iTunes approval before.
