Beijing
Beijing is the political capital of the Peoples Republic of China, a country which has the great opportunities ahead and also some of the biggest challenges. For this reason Beijing is a global metropolis for young talents. The contrast between “old” and “new” China is ever apparent in Beijing, the city’s rich cultural history inspires and attracts artists, politicians, athletes and entrepreneurs.

Make a Difference (MaD) believes in the power of young people. We aim to inspire and empower a new generation of young leaders who are creative, compassionate, collaborative and cosmopolitan; and who can create positive personal, economic, social and environmental changes. MaD is a Hong Kong-based platform for young people in or interested in Asia. Evolving around four core themes of creativity, innovation entrepreneurship and discovery, MaD comprises of an annual forum in January in Hong Kong, an annual MaD Award, an online platform and change-in-action activities throughout the year for young people aged 16-30.
