TOURING THE CAMPUSES

Places with high concentrations of extraordinary smart and talented young people play an important role for Sandbox. And they are always a fun place to be. Our journey in the US allowed us to experience the unique atmosphere of Columbia, New York University, Yale, Harvard and MIT, meeting many fascinating students and potential Sandbox members. We will present some of those talents in the coming weeks on this blog.
While meeting scarily smart young achievers we also received invaluable inputs and recommendations from professors. Two highlighs were Hardvard Computer Science Professor Stuart Shieber who told us over coffee about his current research on how languages are structured and professor Peter Gloor who gave us insights into his current project at MIT that takes collaborative innovation networks to the next level. Peter and his team developed a software and methodology which allows a company to analyze the different channels of communication inside and outside of a company in order to identify trends, innovators and support collaborative innovation networks.
