Berlin Ambassador Rainer Scheerer
The first Sandbox Dinner hosted by the new Ambassador plus wife 
Nine thrillingly energetic twenty-somethings joined in. We met exciting people at ChaCha’s in Berlin Mitte. Over Asian “positive eating” we started bonding with Jessi Altenburger and Jay Cousins from Palomar5. Besides two Sandbox candidates, we were happy to welcome three externals guests: Marc Galmoud, dpa journalist and screenwriter, Anna Prohaska, opera singer at the Staatsopera Berlin, as well as Sandra Ziegenhagen from MTV.
Over spicy noodles and hot chicken, the discussion evolved around education, troubled teenagers and art as a catharsis triggered by the new Union Universal theatre production. Phillip introduced us his idea of an online CO2 reduction consultancy. And Jessi filled us in about exciting new tools on the product design market and water-closets for India.
