You might know the YouTube Video United breaks Guitars and it’s Star Dave Carroll. For those who don’t: On a flight from Halifax, Canada to Nebraska, Omaha, Dave’s Taylor guitar worth $3500 was badly damaged by baggage handlers in Chicago and he and other passengers even witnessed the incident. After almost a year of chasing United Airlines for a compensation in vain, he decided to write/sing a song about it and put it on YouTube. Currently the video has been watched over 5 Million times, you can imagine the “PR mess” for United…

Now Shashank Nigam who authors the blog “Simpliflying” made a clever move: He himself made a song which provides United Airlines with 10 solutions to dealing with this “social media attack” in a fun, innovative way and engaging its passengers, too. Watch his YouTube video response, talking about the things United could do to rescue their brand:
