Sandboxer on social entrepreneurship in the HuffPost

Congratulations to Sandboxer Melissa Richer, Founder of Ayllu, who published : “How Millennials Are Shaping the Future of Social Entrepreneurship and Technology” for the Huffington Post. Check out the article here, where she gives a glimpse on how GenY and social innovation will condition the future economic growth!

2. New in the Sandbox

Jorge Soto

Based in Mexico City, Jorge is the founder of CitiVox, a platform that enhances communication between citizens and their governments, making reports on actionable information for decision making. He was selected as one of the top 10 entrepreneurs in Mexico last year. A warm welcome to the family!

Damian Madray

Damian is a designer from Guyana. He is in love with creating experiences. His style is a unique blend of sensitive harmony with subtle boldness. He is the founder of the Madray (a creative agency), DesignersCouch (a 7000 people strong creative community) and the Glint (a community space for entrepreneurs and designers). Welcome to the Sandbox, Damian!

Edward Silhol

Edward, 29, is a photographer, entrepreneur and UX designer. After studying economics and environmental studies in Toronto, he came back to Paris to start SWAP, an art direction and production company. After graduating from the Founders Institute, Edward started working on his new venture, a web-based service that helps people create a new kind of digital library for their research. Edward, bienvenue a Sandbox !

3. Events of the Week

Sandbox Telepresence Event

AT&T Innovation Centers were invaded by Sandbox teams in not two, not three but four cities. Sandboxers in NYC, Washington DC, Miami and San Francisco came together, using 3D technology in a single Demo Night. Sitting together in a half-virtual, half-real conference rooms, Sandbox Ambassadors like DJ Saul, Kalsoom Lakhani, Paul Gleger, Niamh Hughes and Kane Sarhan said goodbye to geographical limitations and hello to Sandbox cross-border bonding!
