A TRIBUTE TO RANDY PAUSCH
July 28th, 2008 by Fabian PfortmüllerThere are many people who inspire us on our way, but hardly anyone who encouraged us as much as Randy Pausch. Randy was a professor of interaction and design at Carnegie Mellon and was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer in 2006.
Randy inspired us to really live our dreams and has shaped our lifes in an intimate way although we never had the chance to personally meet him. For anyone who hasn’t seen it yet, we highly recommend his “Last Lecture” in which he talks about “really achieving your childhood dreams”. Randy Pausch died last Friday at the age of 47.
