DEBATING OVER MEZZE
August 19th, 2008 by Nico LuchsingerIf you want to have a nice meal with a large group of people, we suggest you go to a place with good mezze, the small middle eastern dishes that you share with everyone at the table. Not only is the food excellent, but the sharing will inevitably lead to everybody having a good time and debating intensely.
A case in point: The last Sandbox dinner that took place last week at the Blunt restaurant in Zurich. We were honoured to have Thomas from our Advisory Board and a bunch of young and inspiring people there. Over hummus and falafel, the discussion topics ranged from corporate social media to the question whether Zurich is a Porsche or a Toyota (I’d say it’s a Mini: small and cool). And later, while the waterpipes were bubbling, Thomas drew for Marisa the concept of Guerilla marketing on the back of a business card; Lucas told Marc about his move to the Silicon Valley; Arjen, Nurit and Noé discussed conferences; Martin presented his new winter magazine; and Antoine and Tiziano talked something in French which we didn’t understand
– Thanks to everyone for coming!
