My first Sandbox Dinner: Riverside Barbecue in Zurich

Recently, I attended a Dinner in Zurich which took place at Ellokal, where we enjoyed a great evening next to the river. Besides around 10 Sandboxers from Zurich and some guests I had the chance to meet several of the Sandbox co-founders. As we started eating, there was another Dinner coming to its end in Singapore. I find it really interesting to see how the community grows.

We spent a great evening with nice food from the barbecue, tasty salads and interesting talks. For me it was a great chance to learn more about what Sandboxers actually do. For example: on the one side a web developer who is running his own business and on the other side a guy I already met at a conference in Vienna and who is now building up a Hub in Zurich. It was really inspiring to meet people from so many different backgrounds, sharing and discussing their ideas and plans, supporting each other by giving feedback and coming up with new points of view and ideas.

Sara is currently living in Cologne, Germany, and will begin an internship in October at the Sandbox office in Zurich. At the moment she is studying for some exams but also enjoying the sunny days while reading some philosophy of economics and eating chocolate.
