Last week saw «Forbes» list America’s most successful entrepreneurs under 30; the list was one-upped by TechCrunch’s collection of successful teen entrepreneurs. So how exactly does one become successful? To be honest, we don’t have a magic recipe either – but some ideas we’ve come across recently:
If you follow Seth Godins advice (you should), then there’s three things you have to demonstrate to always get a job: Sales, Additive Effort and Initiation.
Of course, if you’re successful, there’s always going to be fierce competition. And while there’s many ways to deal with competitors, we liked what McDonalds did to the newly-opened Wendy’s in Evansville, Indiana.
But in the end, success often comes down to sheer luck. And, well, luck isn’t controllable, right? Wrong. Research suggests that luck is a skill that can be learned.
Nico has co-founded Sandbox. His antidote against the starting Swiss winter is listening to The Cat Empire‘s great album «Two Shoes».

Love the McDonald's story :-)
